Let the fun be Gin

We are proud to offer guided tasting workshop into the vast world of Gin. The workshop is approximately 90 minutes and includes tasters of 4 premium gins from different categories. A welcome gin based cocktail will help you get settled in as well as cocktail samples with interactive elements throughout. This session will arm you with all the knowledge of: Gin history, how it is produced, how to taste spirits effectively and how you can best use gin in cocktails at home.

Our host Jake Goldstein will be bringing along an array of botanicals to help deepen your understanding of the flavours used to make up our favourite gins as we taste through them together. We will go on a journey together from the creation of gin itself through to the modern day by sampling, learning and most importantly having fun drinking some gin!

About Jake:

Jake has spent his 12 year career in the food and drink industry working for a gin distillery whilst operating extravagant cocktail bars. He has just relocated to Hereford from Brighton where he owned a cocktail school and bar. Due to the pandemic his life has now taken a different turn. But luckily this is one that means he now gets to spread his wealth of knowledge and positive energy to the wonderful people of Hereford.
